Liberty High School University of Missouri-Columbia Hotel and Restaurant Management After growing up in Liberty and Graduating from the University of Missouri I started by Hospitality career with Pyramid Pizza. Opening a new franchise in Columbia and working at Wesport location for a few years I gained some invaluable experience. From there I started working as a kitchen manager at Barley’s Brewhaus in 1996. In my Barley’s career I worked in every management position and was involved in the merging with KC Hopps. Ultimately becoming Regional Director for KC Hopps I have seen the complete Restaurant operations from every position. After leaving KC Hopps I helped open Nick and Jakes in Parkville. I started with the Kansas Restaurant and Hospitality Association in 2007.
